Maus and Mauser 2mm Compatibility Guide
Maus and Mauser are separate compatibility values in The Pinfire catalog. The similar names can cause incorrect orders, so identify the exact model before selecting cartridges, caps, balls or accessories.
Do not treat the names as interchangeable
The catalog includes a Maus Germany 2 mm model and a Mauser C96 collector model. A product tagged for Maus is not automatically confirmed for Mauser, and a Mauser-specific item is not automatically suitable for Maus. Use the exact Compatible Models value on the product page.
Identification checklist
- Read the full product name and any markings on the collector piece.
- Compare the overall profile with the product photographs.
- Check whether the store page identifies the model as Maus or Mauser.
